alright so i think i’ll go make a new tumblr! i was considering just publicizing my new account on tumblr but since i just saw that anon hate from three days ago (you know that one thing i wanted to avoid like the plague) i guess i’ll just add everyone who would like me to add them back? i don’t know if that’s the easiest way to go about it. .____.;

Tumblr is basically your canvas to paint - whether it be interests, frustrations, or just your day-to-day life. Go for it!

I suggest totally doing it, unless you believe Tumblr just isn’t all that interesting to you any longer. I, personally, can understand your current feelings quite well, though. At times, I’m either frustrated or sort of… hesitant to give out my tumblr because WHOAMYGODkawaii, along with the musings and random text posts that come with. Dip your feet into the water and just see if you like it. Do you want more of a casual blog where you can just post anything? The decision is yours!

that’s… actually really helpful. o////o yeah i was thinking of doing something more casual. i guess i sort of feel like i’ve been trying to be too professional with my tumblr? a few people have told me i’m ~tumblr famous~ and while i highly doubt that i guess i took on a persona that… idk, a ~tumblr famous~ person would take at some point so it just got really bothersome because that persona isn’t me. :/

but yes i was contemplating a casual blog! i wanted to start making more text posts about anime i’m watching or talking about my job a little bit more. since i was promoted a month ago i’ve had a lot of excitement and interesting stories to share but… again that persona i set for this blog wouldn’t find all that interesting.

perhaps starting over would be best after all. thank you!! <3

it’s completely understandable to want to start anew! i mean, things change, people change, and a fresh start is always good!

yeah that sounds like what i’m feeling. a lot has changed since i started this account so i think i’d have a lot more fun on a new one. :3

aaah lots of excuses and musing and idk in this post ~~probably a majority babbling~~

so i’ve been contemplating my tumblr. i have had this account for quite a while now, i think it’s been two or three years or so and i’ve really enjoyed having it. but as of late i… feel like i hate being on tumblr. i honestly can’t come to terms with what it is.

at first i thought it was the people of tumblr. there are lots of people out there who say and do stupid things, there’s the members of the infamous social justice league that make me sick every time they show themselves, there’s those who are just blatantly rude to others…. i thought maybe tumblr just wasn’t for me because i don’t — or i don’t think i do — fall into those categories.

then i thought maybe it was because i was embarrassed about the content on my tumblr. i’ve said and done some stupid things that i totally regret, i have acted like a person i’m really not offline, i have all of these edits that i’ve enjoyed making but after so much has happened to editors i’ve given up on that and i just don’t even want to get remotely involved in that drama though i know i already have at some point in time.

however, i know that my first issue — that all people on tumblr are bad people — is false. i’ve met so many amazing people here that i now follow on twitter and talk to on skype and other social networking sites. i know that there are good people on tumblr and at the end of the day i’d absolutely love to spend more time getting to know them. with the busy-ness of my dashboard sometimes i lose site of a lot of people i’d like to get to know.

so i’m going to go with the fact that i’m majorly embarrassed by my content and i’m ready to start anew.

a lot of people are probably looking at this going oh my god it’s just tumblr stop being all critical about your thinking and blah blah blah but this has actually been… bothering me?

what’s your advice and am i being really stupid about this? 8(
